Awkward Spaces.

The "Awkward Spaces" photo exhibition is designed to challenge any preconceived notions that there's only one environment to experience the art of dance. The use of explosive movement and color can tell the stories of four featured dancers. Chuck Marcus intentionally created spaces considered awkward for dancers, such as a supermarket, library and laundromat, to show how a dancer can mold any environment into a space where dance and movement can be not only displayed, but appreciated.
