Our Very Flesh is an exploration and presents a journey — closely examining stories around femininity. The exhibit focuses on the grandest form of expression: the body. Stripping away objective clutter, subjects are featured in skin tone ensembles. Thick but sensitive the flesh reveals an honest telling of life in its rawest form. The flesh remembers space, time, people, hurt, anger, healing, joy, and love. It remembers itself. Through intricate poses, Our Very Flesh reveals the act of staying true — to your body, past, dreams, choices and achievements.
